Steve Downing, President

Steve attended the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in the early seventies. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland College Park, and conducted graduate studies in marketing management at Towson University in the late seventies. After three years as the eastern regional architectural design consultant for Andersen Windows, he served another nine years as V.P. of Construction for another commercial window venture in Baltimore. Seeing a desperate need for a source of education and a return to integrity in the fenestration market, he started Window Consultants, Inc. in 1990.
The company's philosophy is steadfast - the more attuned the client is with the nuances of the window market during the selection and design process, the more likely it is that an educated decision will result- leading to a seamless transition from 'order to completion' - and thereby achieving the desired end result.
